The study of climate uses climate models to study the dynamics of the weather and climate system to create projections of future climate. These models uses quantitative methods to simulate interactions of the atmosphere, oceans, land surface and ice. One of the most popular study is the increase of atmospheric temperature due to the radiative effects of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide.

Global warming resulted by excessive greenhouse gases in our atmosphere causes extreme weather patterns that can be felt worldwide.
